If you would like to grieve your
assessment, you must submit something in writing, and call 426-3305 for
an appointment. Grievances will be heard on Tuesday, July 6th
between 2:00 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. If you do not grieve your
assessment now, you will have to wait until next year. The Vermont

POND CULVERT
Town of Marshfield seeks qualified
bidders to replace a 66" diameter X 32' long culvert with a precast
concrete box culvert 4' high X 10' wide x 32' long.
Interested bidders may obtain
specifications
and a map.
Bids are due at the Town Clerk’s
Office on Thursday, July 8th at 4:00 p.m.
WINTER
SAND
The Marshfield Selectmen are seeking bids for winter sand:
Washed Sand: The Town will purchase approximately 4,000 tons of
McCullough’s washed sand or an equivalent to be approved by the Road
Foreman.
Hauling: Approximately 2,500 tons, to be delivered to the
Marshfield Town Garage and approximately 1,500 tons delivered to the
Plainfield Town Garage (the exact amount to be delivered will be
determined by the Road Foreman at the time of delivery).
The sand must be delivered before September 30th.
Delivery must be accomplished within an eight-week period, with one
week’s prior notice given to the Road Foreman. Load slips must be
turned in every day.
Bidders must state the number and size of trucks that will be used for
delivery.
Note: Bidders must show separately the cost of the washed sand
and the cost of delivery. The Selectboard may accept one vendor’s bid
for sand and another vendor’s bid for delivery. Bids for delivery
must be accompanied by a valid insurance certificate in order to receive
consideration – no exceptions. Bidders must be in compliance with DOT
regulations for CDL drivers, including participation in a random
drug-testing program as required by federal regulations.
We must receive your bid by 4:00 pm on Thursday, July 8th at
the Town Clerk's Office, 122 School Street, Room 1, Marshfield, VT 05658
The Town of Marshfield reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
